Eagle Rock Canyon Trail Work Day

Seeking volunteers to clear & maintain the trail just in time for summer.
Any & all help is welcome!
Please bring any tools you may have to clear weeds
and trim back brush.
Park at the end of Eagle Rock View Drive or
on Figueroa just north of the 134 freeway.

THE "EAGLE ROCK" LEGEND
Legend says that long ago a band of Gabrieleno Indians gathered at the foot of the Eagle Rock, when out of the sky a giant eagle swooped up an infant member of the tribe. The Indian Chief summoned the Great Spirit to intercede. The result was that the eagle lost his ability to fly and crashed into the Rock where his shadow remains forever.
