Darryl's Garden

Great news!  Phase II (aka the planting) of Darryl's Garden is done.  We couldn't have done it without our two very efficent and knowledgable workers, Pancho and Juan Torres!  A big thank you also goes out to the board members who were involved.

Soon we'll be placing benches in and around the garden and then it'll be complete! For more info or to help email crzanarchy@mac.com.

Check out photos from this event and others on the events page.

 THE "EAGLE ROCK" LEGEND

Legend says that long ago a band of Tongva (Gabrieleno) Indians gathered at the foot of the Eagle Rock, when out of the sky a giant eagle swooped up an infant member of the tribe. The Indian Chief summoned the Great Spirit to intercede. The result was that the eagle lost his ability to fly and crashed into the Rock where his shadow remains forever.
